Harbour Bar & Annex – you won’t find a better location for this beautifully presented B&B- annex to the nearby Harbour Bar where Bruce and Debbie run a friendly, lively pub where locals and visitors alike are welcomed warmly, and it just happens to be our local, right next door!

Gourdon Schoolhouse B&B – located in the working fishing village of Gourdon and run by Lorna, marvellous views over the fishing village for some fresh sea air

Chapel of Barras Farm Bed & Breakfast – David & Michelle run a welcoming and comfortable B&B 5 minutes from Gourdon, by Kineff

The Roomies – Montrose Basin is home to spectacular wildlife and birds and here you will also find this friendly B&B where Caroline and Keith will host your stay

Dunnottar Castle – a magical ruined castle, steeped in Scottish history and still very much alive today for visitors, bird watchers, wedding parties and picnics

Gourline – our valued Fish Merchants and suppliers of the finest seafood in the north of Scotland, located on West Quay…two doors down from our shop

Devenick Dairy – if you haven’t tried their cheesecake yet…you must! We love it so much we buy three a week! Also supply delicious rose veal, makes a fabulous lasagne!

Stonehaven Outdoor Swimmingpool – little known fact, I came 2nd (yes 2nd!) in the Miss Stonehaven Beauty Pagent (under 12’s) in 1978 – I was 10…and defo a case of Little Miss Sunshine! We loved the place as kids we, we love it still today!

St Cyrus Beach and National Nature Reserve – if we had more time to ourselves this is where we’d spend it – cliffs, dunes, grasses and miles of sandy beach. Simply stunning

Maggie Law Museum – find out about the history of the Maggie Law lifeboat and enjoy the visit to Gourdon’s museum
